There Are Not Two Sides

I don't have to condone violence to understand the rage. We are a country more and more divided by color. Red versus blue on election day, and now black versus blue. The constant picking sides is destroying us as a country. Stop telling people the anger should be directed at the one who committed the crime when you know the problem is bigger than that. Stop looting and hurting businesses and giving people the right to point their finger in the wrong direction. Stop telling people to protest quietly so you can ignore them. Martin Luther King protested peacefully over sixty years ago, what seems like a lifetime ago for many people, and yet here we are still kneeling on the neck of his people. You are foolish to think I'm picking sides, and foolish to tell me I'm condoning violence. I'm simply saying I don't have to a pick side, this isn't black versus blue, this is wrong versus right and there is only one side.
